WordPress Photo Challenge: Ready

There’s nothing like a bit of rest and reflection to get ready.  I don’t know for what you need to get ready, but this would be a pretty nice place to rest and reflect.

Oh, and the reflecting?  There was no pun intended.

  3. I like the lines of this photo. I also like that you’ve incorporated that human-element that is so important for many pictures.

    • Taking photos of candid people is always dodgy for me. I want to ask permission, but often, by the time I make my way over to my subjects, they’ve moved on before I can ask. At the same time, candid shots are always more interesting. My post today is another candid.

  5. Great photo. Not sure if it puts me in mind of solitary freedom with the surroundings…or, being in prison. One or the other, It’ll come to me I suppose.

    • Prison! That’s funny. The only problem I’ve ever had with Simon Fraser University (SFU) is that it is so much cold concrete that people often refer to it as a prison. SFU is at the top of Burnaby Mountain, which means that, when Vancouver is covered in fog, the university seems like it is a floating island with nothing surrounding it. The feeling of being in solitary confinement is definite.
