New recipes…Yay!

My wife and kids gave me the book on top of the stack for Christmas.  I’m excited about trying some of the recipes.  They look really good.  All I need is a food processor and a new life in the kitchen will start.

Is there anyone else who’s excited about new recipes?  Or Jamie Oliver?  Or Jamie Oliver’s recipes?

I have always enjoyed his TV shows where tries to buck the British school cafeteria foods. Very entertaining! I’m all for kids eating ‘real’ food and not processed crap!

    • What’s awesome about the Meals in Minutes book is that he “whazzes” up all of his ingredients that my family doesn’t like and makes them part of sauces, marinades and side dishes. Lots of hidden nutrition. Also, everything that I’ve made of his has been super-tasty and full of flavor without a ton of salt, which is bad for my high blood pressure.

  2. All three for five hundred Alex! Food Revolution is one of our favourites – I haven’t made anything out of it that wasn’t smashing. And who doesn’t love a charming Brit trying to make cooking great food part of home again. I’m gonna have to use some of my Christmas money to try out the new one!

    • Meals in Minutes is probably my favorite because he outlines exactly what to do, step by step, in order to make the entire meal in around thirty minutes. I highly recommend it.

      BTW, Happy New Year!
