Going home…
…from KL again. I love this city. There are some weirdnesses, and I’ve really never travelled away from the downtown core, but where I’ve been has been pretty sweet.
So, here’s the Petronas Towers once again.

Yeah…you should see it in person. We sat and watched as the night sky grew, and the lights grew, and the tower lit up.

It would be cool to use a star8 filter on that particular building, catch all the lights

If I had a tripod (still haven’t bought one here in Indonesia), I could have used the remote shutter release while the camera was mounted. No tripod, no aperture above 8, and an f16 would have achieved a similar effect.

if you crouch down and steady your elbows on your knees, it does a similar job as a tripod

It’s a great idea, but I’m over six feet tall and about two hundred thirty pounds. Crouching is not easy.
Also, I’m looking for an excuse to buy a nice tripod, so any excuse will do.
