Thanks. I attribute my “eye” for black and white to the diminished capabilities of the cones in my eyes. I have a “red-green color deficiency” – meaning that I’m partially color-blind. I can see most colors, but have trouble identifying them. With black and white, I look for what appeals to me, rather than thinking about the specific colors to filter out.
I think it takes a good eye to know what will look stunning in black and white. Great contrast, lovely picture!
