Kismet: When Photo Friday and WordPress Photo Challenge collide
WordPress’ photo challenge this week is “Launch“. Photo Friday’s challenge this week is “Day’s End“. My photo is a boat dock, from which one might launch boats, at the end of the day. Does it work for both? I hope so.

I don’t know what photo friday is or what the wordpress photo challenge is!!!? I do like your photography and I hope you rid yourself of the flu bug as soon as possible. Starting 2012 in poor health is not the way to go! That said I realise that your recent blog posts are possibly as a result of your ill health rather than you sharing your best work. The dock has featured in lots of posts and while this is not a bad shot it does not carry the same hallmark of quality of your better work. Sorry but I figure a bit of honesty is important in my comment. Get yourself back to full health so we can all enjoy your photography when you resume normal service. Maintaining a daily blog is no easy task and I appreciate your dedication. I really do like your blog so I sincerely wish you good health and a happy new year. I look forward to my daily subscription from righinfrontofme….

Yeah, the recycling is largely due to the illness.
As for “Photo Friday” and the “WordPress Photo Challenge”, they’re two weekly photo challenges in which I participate. They’re a good way to exhibit photos and they provide a challenge to photograph something that I might now otherwise photograph.

Great example of launch. I used to have a boat and would launch it every week. It was great fun except when it was crowded.
