Path through history: WordPress Photo Challenge
I had the privilege to escort five students to a National Student Leadership Conference last September. The conference was in Quebec, Montreal specifically, but we did a three day tour of Quebec City and Montreal before the conference. I loved “la belle province” and had a great time. It seemed that no matter where I went in the old city of Quebec I ran into history. When the WordPress Photo Challenge came up this week with “Path” this was the first photo I thought of. It’s a path laid down by men a couple of centuries ago. A little path to history.

Beautiful photo. Starting from the bottom, I get the sense of being in a very close road because of the tall buildings, but as I scroll up, the scene slowly takes on more light as I reached the sky. Interesting narrative, too.

Thanks. The narrowness is real, though, as these streets were made over 200 years ago and we not made for car traffic at all. In fact, I doubt you could pass two carriages through most these streets.

Coming from Mexico, through the US , seeing the Canadian flag at the border crossing was a great sight
As much as Quebec wants to be seperate it is neat to see the two flags side by side….

I love this photo. I’ve been to Montreal but not Quebec. Beautiful I’ll put it on my bucket list.

love this shot and its depth. the framing also makes it a bit claustrophobic, surrounded from both sides. beautiful details, though.
