I thought it less like a lake…
… and more like a moat…I need you so much closer…
I was playing tonight, at Mill Lake in Abbotsford, with my camera’s ability to shoot in the dark. Then, while processing, I was listening to “Transatlanticism” by DCFC and got the feeling that someone was across the lake, looking at me while I was shooting.
Thinking about it now and listening to Death Cab, I think we often put up moats that we think are protecting us but are really shutting us off from one another. Hmm…

Well done–thought-provoking text as well.
